So the other morning Colby and I head to the barn to take care of Ringo (our horse) like we do on most mornings I'm home with him. After we turn the horse out, we were in the arena letting the dogs chase each other and play. Colby was running around, laughing and having a great time. Then it got quiet.....and below is why. Colby was stuck. I couldn't help but laugh and take a picture!

Pumpkin Patch
We took a little trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a fun afternoon watching Colby discover all the fun things you can do in the fall. Up next, Halloween! You will have to check back to see the costume!
You can look at pumpkins and find the perfect one.
You can laugh at Mommy in the funny corn!
You can discover real bunnies.
And a miniature horse!
You can pretend you are a barber and
feed the goats and chickens.
You can ask Daddy for help in the pumpkins
And then laugh at Daddy's funny face.
Don't know how, but I managed to get this VERY memorable picture!

And finally you can relax on a tractor ride around the corn maze and pumpkin patch.

Half Moon Bay
I am a little tardy in posting these pictures. For Labor Day we wanted to escape the heat of the valley and travel to someplace that we had yet to visit. We took an overnight trip to Half Moon Bay. It is a quaint, coastal community just south of San Francisco off of Hwy 1. It took us about 2 hours to get there and was well worth the drive. We stayed in a very nice seaside hotel within walking distance of the beach. We spent the afternoon cruising the beach, watching surfers and taking a dip in the hot tub. The next morning we grabbed breakfast at a local favorite and headed over to the Ritz Carlton Hotel where you can access the coastal walking/biking trail. This was a great walk along the Pacific and a pretty nice links golf course that the Ritz maintains. As you can see, the weather was cool, just what we wanted! It was a great two days to get away.
Sportin' the Panda :)
Looking back to the north and the Ritz.
Colby thought this bird was so funny. He just posed while we took his picture.
