Last weekend, we decided that the sunny weather was screaming "Baseball"! We bought tickets to watch the SF Giants play our CO Rockies. We drove to Oakland and took the ferry across the bay to At&T Park. it was a great way to go to the game and miss the hassle of driving in the city. The park was nice, but not as nice as Coors Field in our opinion....although that might be biased! The Rocks ended up losing, but it was still a great afternoon and the weather was perfect. We are going to try to go to a night game later this summer just to try it out.
Luke & I at the game.....I know I am wearing the wrong cap, but I had to buy it since it was so hot and I forgot my Rockies cap.
On the ferry going to the park. What a great way to go to the game.
Luke traveled back home in April for the annual "Balls to the Walls" trail ride and boys weekend. I can't even begin to tell you the stories....hunting animals, eating BBQ, no showers and probably a beer or two. I have included a picture of the guys that were at the trip. If only their horses could speak. I'm sure they have the best stories of all to tell. Luke had a great time seeing friends from his LSU days and spending time with his family. If you need more of the gory details, please email Luke!!
